JNV Pandoh Alumni feelings

Its freezing cold here, gotta reminded of navodaya

cold,

wear track suits, warm socks, monkey cap, we were told

It was so much disgusted to wake up early in the

morning,

but we have to wake up, we can do only one

thing, thats moaning.

Mostly everyday we slept wearing our school

dress inside track suits,

just to avoid damn early morning cold, we were

stupid & nuts.

Morning PET (with Sandhu Sir) was such a lazy act we have to do it,

oppressing our wish,

in break-fast we gotta chana-puri, parantaha,

bread-milk.

Wednesday as being bread-milk in break-fast, was

so crap,

feels like more hungry, even after eating bunch of

bread strap.

I hate wednesday for lunch too, as its having

pakora-kari,

& i hate this cz neither i like pakora nor the kari.

Tuesday n thursday are having paranthas with

pickle & tea in break-fast,

everybody comes earlier, eat there paranthas as

everything is steadfast.

Sunday was treated as best break-fast day for

havin chana-puri with tea,

seniors sleep, juniors go to eat there break-fast &

bring senior's breakfast to hostel & meek.

Sunday was also treated as special day for its

dinner, as egg sabji & matar-paneer,

firstly we eat egg sabji & after washin plates go for

matar-paneer, in dessert its kheer.

There was one mfckr who give me his bucket full

of cloths to wash named Devender,

who's havin gay type voice bt i cant do nothin, so

hv to wash & do surrender.

Late nite preps are lovely as well as cruel at end of

every year before preboard,

have to wash our cloths after preps with cold

water, i slept & many times roared.

We gotta lil bit of tea to warm ourselves after night

preps,

but seniors take as mch as they want, we gota lil bit

of it, perhaps.

I still remember our Mr Ved Sharma(VP) who told

us about prayer before eating,

now i came to know, it was very sophisticated

manner to greet God for food-providing.

I haven't spent too much cold days n nights before

goin to hostel,

but here washed cloths, taken bath with cold water,

feels like its coastal.

Everytime i starts writing about my hostel life &

childhood days,

i cant keep it small coz these are my life's reflective

& refractive rays..

Mr. Sanjeev Kapoor may soon be on the platter of students studying in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas

Great news delicacies conceived by celebrity chef  Mr. Sanjeev Kapoor may soon be on the platter of students studying in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas across the country.

In a recent event union HRD Minister Mrs. Smriti Irani said her ministry has decided to rope in Sanjeev Kapoor to prepare menu of food to be served at all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas and to train the cooks of these residential schools.

According to  Mrs. Irani, the decision has been taken with an aim to provide best facilities to the students of Navodaya schools, which are run by the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

Bright students from humble family background take admission in these boarding schools. To provide facilities parallel to private boarding schools, we have decided to rope in celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor to prepare the menu of the food served in these schools," she said at the foundation stone laying ceremony of a JNV at Hathijan village near here.

"Apart from preparing the menu of these schools,  Mr.Kapoor will also provide training to all the cooks of these boarding schools. Our aim is to make students feel that they are studying in a school which is no less than a private boarding school," the HRD Minister said.
Indeed this is a good initiative from the govt.if executed in near future.
